Popular Swiss player Patty Schnyder was eliminated 6-3, 4-6, 7-9 in the fourth round of the French Open by number two seed Maria Sharapova.
It was a tough match made disappointing for Patty because she was able to fight her way back in the second set and also hold match points in the third set.
Each time Patty held match point Sharapova was able to use her experience and skills to stay in the match. Sharapova was finally able to close out the match.
